I guide this freediving expedition through Maldivian atolls with Beyond the Blue. It is the most comfortable of my trips, combining life aboard with time in the water each day.
What to expect
A liveaboard experience through the atolls, with daily water time. Comfort on board does not remove the need to adapt to actual sea conditions, and wildlife sightings remain uncertain.
Water comfort and participation
This is a freediving-focused expedition. Check Beyond the Blue for the current participation requirements and explain your experience in the water; no depth target or qualification is invented here.
Safety and responsible encounters
I pay attention to the sea, the group and individual comfort. We adapt to actual conditions and follow local guidance where applicable. An animal's wellbeing comes before a photo; an encounter is never forced or guaranteed.
Questions about this expedition
- Is this the same as the Fuvahmulah tiger shark trip?
- No. This is a freediving liveaboard through Maldivian atolls. Fuvahmulah is a separate SCUBA expedition requiring Open Water certification.
- What makes this trip different from Tania's other expeditions?
- It is the most comfortable of her trips, with life aboard a liveaboard and time in the water every day.
- Does daily water time mean guaranteed wildlife?
- No. Time in the water does not guarantee sightings or encounters.
